I feel no shame. But for what it’s worth, I do carry all six around on my zune, so I will get around to them at some stage. I’m not saying they’re bad, I’m just deferring judgement, and sufficing with prejudice for the moment. And it’s 2009 now, so we all have to listen to 2009 albums ASAP so we can blog about them before anyone else does…

Hey Doug - Indeed there is, and yeah, it’s probably a better song. My tongue is firmly in my cheek when I suggest Kreisky are my new favourite band, but I do find them amusing. Thanks for dropping by - there’s not been much going on here lately..

oddly enough, there’s a song called “jacqueline” that’s the opener of franz ferdinand’s debut, and, IMHO, it’s way better than this song.

Now I’m going to reveal my age but this was the year I graduated from college and started living properly. These albums (except JJ72) were part of my soundtrack to that year too- an important part. Good to have news from you.

Mr Merrick, I was hibernating for the summer, apols for the lack of replies to your earlier comments. I might do that meme, but I expect it will be problematic, due to my bland(er) taste in music at the time. Though it might prove amusing…. Hmmmmm. Anyway, it’s too sunny to think about today.
